Hello!!


Been a while (again). Groblin Survivors has seen a lot of updates since I've last posted!


To the point that (I think) it's a pretty different game -- or at least, the main game loop has changed. I was wondering if you'd rather have a new page for the new version so that the old version is archived, or simply have the original page updated?


P.S. I might not have uploaded many games over the summer, but that's because I've been working on a little something, in addition to a (currently) scrapped prototype that I intend on coming back to later! Here's some clips of those:


Spellcrafter's Stronghold, a roguelike spellcrafting game. Had to scrap it for now -- been pretty busy with university so I'm not able to do as much in-engine work, which this game needs a lot of.


Alchemist's Alcove, a turn-based crafting game. Working on this at the moment since most of the work is done in scripts rather than in-engine so I can get stuff done a lot faster!

So, a while back, I posted two of my games, Mage-keshift and Groblin Survivors. I got a lot of really great feedback that currently hasn't publicly made it into either game, but I will at some point be posting an update to Groblin Survivors with all the changes I've implemented. Depending on just how different it ends up being, I might even make it a separate page, but that might be excessive lol. That being said, it should be a much smoother experience with more towers, more waves, and more mayhem!


I'll be sure to make another post when I update it. I also plan on eventually getting back into working on Mage-keshift, but for that I'd want to entirely recreate the project from the ground up, so it might take some more time.


Anyways, when I posted those games I got a lot of follows and I decided to thank their love and dedication by pretty much disappearing off of NewGrounds without a word for half a year. Sorry about that! The short explanation is college. The long explanation is college but also work.


Anyways, it's summer now, and I've decided to kick that off by joining two concurrent game jams and making Ready Your Rudder!! I'll be making lots more short games like this, and/or possibly wrap myself into a new longer-term project like Groblin Survivors.
